I like to be the first one up in the house in the morning. Including before our dog, Nuala. Preferably before the sunrise, so I can see that magic unfold outside my window.

At the dinner table we say the things we’re grateful for from the day.

I have a nighttime journal by my bed where I write down my “wins” for the next day. And I jot down what I want my subconscious to work on while I’m sleeping.

Some recent stressors have my stomach acting funky. Instead of just riding it out, I switched up how I’m eating for now, and I’m re-ordering a probiotic that has supported me in the past.

I ask myself, “How do I want to feel”? And I listen.

I ask my clients a version of that too.

How do you want to feel going into your next embryo transfer?

How do you want to feel as you start your IVF cycle?

How do want to feel at the end of the day/week/month?

Most want to feel more in control of the fertility journey.

and/or…

Calmer

Like I’ve done all I can

Less stressed

Ready

Less emotional

Articulating it is the first step. And then we create a plan.

What are the daily and weekly actions that will help you get there? Without overwhelm – that’s an important piece.

Maybe it’s:

Your morning routine

A gratitude practice

Meal planning and prep

Having an accountability partner

Movement

Creating a list of questions for your clinical team

Someone to talk to on the regular, who really gets it

There are so many options based on your unique answer to: “How do you want to feel?” As yourself. And then listen.

This is the work to help you feel the way you want to feel as you navigate your fertility journey.

So I encourage you to answer the question so you can plan your next steps along the way.

And if you need support doing so, schedule a free, fertility support session. These sessions provide so much clarity on what your next steps should be.

With no pressure, no obligation to do anything else than just strategize on what’s the next right step for you.

You can book it here.
