I hope you had a Merry Christmas, and that this holiday season brings you joy and laughter, the love of friends and family, gratitude and time for reflection.
For those of us who need to turn up the TLC, I have a few quick suggestions.
- Find a few minutes to practice self-care: a warm bath, a massage, meditation or journaling.
- Spend some time outdoors or in nature: a walk in the woods or on the beach, sledding or ice skating.
- Spend time with people who support you. We all have people in our lives who are well meaning but inevitably say the wrong things or don’t know how best to support you. You know who they are 😉 But you also have people who do provide the support you need, and that’s whose company you need right now.
