When you think of self-care, do you think of manis, pedis and massages?

If so, I get it.

But that’s just part of it.

I break self-care into buckets, one being emotional self-care – taking care of your emotional health.

Acts of self-care in this bucket include:

  • Affirmations
  • Self-talk
  • Journaling
  • Setting boundaries
  • Cultivating friendships
  • Pausing friendships/relationships
  • Being in community
  • Therapy/counseling/support groups
