T.’s fertility doctor recommended she work with me to get to a healthier BMI prior to IVF. Beyond the weight it was important to her to manage her PCOS symptoms, like balancing blood sugar, getting a handle on stress, sleeping better and getting her periods back on track (they’ve been very irregular).

Eating to manage her PCOS symptoms and lose weight includes:

  • 8-10 servings of veggies/day
  • Eliminating gluten
  • Cutting way back on dairy
  • Drinking plenty of water
  • Regular exercise and movement

Her results? Steady weight loss, normal periods for the last two months, better sleep and less stress.

She recently said, “I’m proud that I’ve been losing weight in a healthy way, with no crash dieting, and in a way that will be sustainable.”

That’s right. No crash diets here. Just healthy eating to reduce/eliminate PCOS symptoms, help improve IVF success and create a foundation for pregnancy, post partum and beyond.
