My client, M., had gained 10 lbs. in the past 1-2 years, discovered she was in perimenopause, and was having difficulty losing weight and staying motivated.

I asked her some questions about her experience working together to help her manage her perimenopause symptoms.  Here’s what she had to say:

Why did you choose to work with me? Your straightforward non-judgmental approach was a good fit for my style. I also liked that you had experience with women in the same stage of life as me.

What have been your results during our work together? I have lost a few lbs, but more importantly have felt better in my body overall. I’ve incorporated healthy habits into my daily life and have stuck to these where in the past I found it difficult to commit to new habits on my own.

Was it worth it for you to invest in your health this way? 100%! Investing in me is something I don’t do often, typically making sure everyone else in my family is OK before focusing on my own needs. However – it’s made me a better spouse, friend, mom etc. because I am feeling better about myself- both in my body & my progress.

What did you most enjoy about working with me? I felt like I was confiding in a friend, and that I could be honest and open with you. That made the difference for me.

What would you say to someone considering working with me? I’d say to trust Jennifer to be an excellent accountability partner, and a great listener – if you want someone who is kind, thoughtful and trusting and can be that support system – a nutrition coach but so much more – Jennifer is your person!
