What’s your “why”?
Why do you want to change your diet? To be in the best shape to have a baby? To boost egg quality? To make sure you’re doing all you can to optimize your next fertility treatment cycle?
Once you determine your why, you’ll be more focused. I encourage you to write it down.
Now that you know why, let’s think about how. For starters, add in one or two fresh, whole foods a day. Like leafy greens.
Or challenge yourself to not eat anything that comes in a box. Try it for 3-5 days, for starters.
If you’re already eating 8 servings of veggies a day, consider adding in a lacto-fermented food – just 1/4 to 1/2 cup once a day. Like sauerkraut or kimchi.
Swap out animal protein for wild fish or plant-based protein – like chickpeas – once a week.
And by all means, hydrate. Aim for drinking 1/2 your weight in ounces of water.
